Helloween is one of the most influential bands in the metal genre, and their live shows are truly a sight to behold. When Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen rejoined the band in 2016, it reinvigorated them and made their live shows even better.
Both Kiske and Hansen are incredible singers and guitarists, and they add a lot to Helloween’s sound. Coupled with the band’s long-time singer Andi Deris, they are a force to be reckoned with. Their new self-titled album, is a testament to how great they still are.
Helloween played a mix of old and new songs at their recent show in Budapest. They played classics like “Dr. Stein” and “I Want Out”, as well as newer songs like “Mass Polution” and the 10-minute epic “Skyfall,” which opened their set.
With HammerFall as the special guest, the show was even better. HammerFall is a well-known and respected band in the metal community, and their inclusion on the bill was a real treat for fans of the genre. The band promoted their new album “Hammer Of Dawn,” adding in a few classics like “The Metal Age” or “Let the Hammer Fall” in the mix for good measure.
