After months of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Pantera will be reuniting for a tour later this year. The band is scheduled to play a string of dates in South America, starting in early December and running throughout 2023. You can find all of the currently confirmed Pantera reunion tour dates below.
This tour sees Phil Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) joining forces with Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde (guitar) and Anthrax’s Charlie Benante (drums).
This will be the first time that Pantera has toured since 2003, when they disbanded. Shortly after, guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott was shot on stage, while performing alongside his brother Vinnie Paul with their new band Damageplan. Since then, there have been numerous reunion rumors, but none of them ever came to fruition.
Vinnie Paul Abbott passed away in 2018, leaving any hope for reunion with most of the surviving members shattered.
Thankfully, Anselmo and Brown, with the support from the Abbott estate, are bringing back the legendary band for a limited tour run.
