Fans of metal rejoice! Pantera is back and ready to rock. The band has announced a reunion tour that will start in December and extend into next year with select festivals and dates to be announced. The first performances on the Pantera tour include Knotfest Colombia, Knotfest Chile and Knotfest Brasil festivals in December.
Pantera was one of the most popular metal bands of the 1990s, selling millions of records and headlining arenas around the world. But the band broke up in 2003 after a dispute between singer Phil Anselmo and guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
Since then, there have been numerous reunion rumors, but this is the first time that two living original members have agreed to tour together again under the name Pantera. They will be joined on the Pantera reunion tour dates by American musician Zakk Wylde on Guitar and Anthrax alum Charlie Benante on drums. Pantera tour 2023 dates are yet to be announced.
