QUEEN premieres previously unreleased song featuring Freddie Mercury

Queen’s highly anticipated “lost” track “Face It Alone,” featuring the late Freddie Mercury, was released on October 13 as a worldwide single.

Its release as a single coincides with a new release of the band’s 13th album, “The Miracle,” the band’s penultimate album released during Freddie Mercury’s lifetime. Now available in an eight-disc “The Miracle Collector’s Edition” box set, it becomes the band’s final album released during his lifetime.

“Face It Alone,” originally recorded during the band’s historic 1988 session for that album, which ended with nearly 30 tracks laid down, many of which remained among those never released. The band influenced many modern rock acts and went down in legend as one of the most defining bands in rock history.
