Tunisian-French progressive metal innovators Myrath are heading to Vienna. The band will perform at Szene Wien on April 12, 2026, as part of their “Wilderness of Mirrors – First Strike” European tour, and with a brand new album already out, expectations are high.
Released on March 27, 2026, Wilderness of Mirrors is Myrath’s seventh studio album and arguably their most ambitious to date. The record features ten tracks that push further into the territory the band has been carving out for years: progressive metal architecture wrapped in Middle Eastern melody, now delivered with sharper production and wider emotional range.
Lead single “Until the End” set the tone immediately, a cinematic duet featuring Elize Ryd of Amaranthe that explores the blur between truth and illusion. It is the kind of opener that announces intent. Subsequent singles “The Funeral”, “Breathing Near the Roar”, and “Soul of My Soul” continued to sketch out an album that moves between thunderous riffing and deeply intimate moments with confidence.

The Vienna stop is one of the central dates on the first leg of the tour, positioned in the heart of a run through Central and Eastern Europe. The show takes place at Szene Wien, one of the city’s most reliable mid-size venues for this kind of heavy, atmosphere-driven metal. Support comes from Roses of Thieves.
