A summer of unique sounds at Arena Wien

Deafheaven, originally formed in San Francisco gained widespread recognition with their groundbreaking 2013 album, *Sunbather*, which redefined the boundaries of heavy metal and earned a prestigious spot on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” and Pitchfork’s “200 Best Albums of the 2010s” lists.

Deafheaven further challenged genre conventions with their 2015 release, *New Bermuda*, obtaining critical acclaim, while their 2018 album, *Ordinary Corrupt Human Love*, earned the band their first Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance.

Coming back to Europe for summer festivals and a few club shows, Deafheaven will kick off their European run at Arena Vienna on the 22nd of July, this time as headliners, after their support tour of Knocked Loose in 2024.
