Gallery: Jinjer @ Gasometer, Vienna; 2026

Jinjer returned to Vienna on February 17 as part of their Duel European Tour, hosted by Mind Over Matter, bringing with them a lineup that felt carefully curated for maximum impact. With Textures and Unprocessed setting the tone, the evening built layer by layer before exploding into the controlled chaos Jinjer have made their signature.

From the first note, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a passive show. The band thrives on contrast, technical precision colliding with raw groove, atmospheric passages dissolving into crushing breakdowns. Tatiana Shmayluk’s vocal command remains one of the most striking elements in modern metal: switching between feral intensity and haunting clarity without losing emotional weight.

What stood out in Vienna wasn’t just the heaviness, but the discipline. Every riff felt deliberate, every rhythmic shift locked in. The visuals were a sight to behold, adding another layer on top of the already-complex musical soundscape for the masses to absorb.

This gallery captures that balance: power and control, aggression and elegance, the split-second before impact. A night where modern progressive metal felt both sharp and deeply human.
