Alter Bridge Returns to Vienna with Daughtry and Sevendust

Hard rock titans Alter Bridge are roaring back into the spotlight. To support their upcoming release, the band has announced the massive What Lies Within Tour across Europe, kicking off on January 15 in Germany and wrapping up on March 5 in Nottingham, UK.

For Austrian fans, the highlight is confirmed: Alter Bridge will bring their explosive live show to the Gasometer in Vienna on January 30, 2026, hosted by Mind over Matter.

The New Album The tour coincides with the release of the band’s eighth studio album, simply titled Alter Bridge, which is set to drop on January 9, 2026, via Napalm Records. The record was produced by longtime collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette and recorded across sessions in California and Florida.

Two Decades of Dominance

For over twenty years, Alter Bridge has stood united, and there is no end in sight. Despite their long history, the musicians show absolutely no signs of fatigue or creative stagnation. On the contrary, their music remains fresh, energized, and emotionally profound.

With the new self-titled record, fans can expect the band’s unmistakable signature sound: a powerful blend of alternative rock and metal elements. Driven by Myles Kennedy’s soaring, expressive vocals and Mark Tremonti’s crushing guitar work, the new material is poised to sit alongside modern classics like “Blackbird” and “Metalingus” or recent hits like “Silver Tongue”.

A Powerhouse Lineup in Vienna

A special highlight awaits fans for this run: Daughtry will be joining the tour as Special Guest. Fronted by Chris Daughtry, the band is renowned for their radio-ready anthems and emotional intensity.

To kick off the evening, US metal veterans Sevendust will open the show. Known for their ferocious live performance, Sevendust guarantees to bring the drive and heat up the crowd from the very first note.
